The John Borlace Warren

We visited this one prior to an impromptu meeting and decided to try some pub grub. Our first choice was The Falcon next door, but seeing the total 'up their own arse' attitude, we came back to the Warren. The biggest claim to fame here so far was that they sold white beer that is flavoured to your own specifications, but we stayed with the Kronenburg. Pub grub? Not really. A little too pricey for pub grub, but the meal was absolutely superb! We settled for beef bourginon all round, and the sauce was unbelievably addictive, all served with a selection of fresh vegetables, plus free bread to mop up the sauce so that Angelina didnt have to drink it off the plate.
A thoroughly recommended dinnertime meal!
